FILE NAMING CONVENTION FOR UNZIPPED WATCHES:
1998 MONTHLY ARCHIVE: Day-1 and Day-2 Outlooks, Mesoscale Discussions (all types), Status Reports
Product files were zipped by day instead of by month. These daily zipfiles contain all available Day-1 and Day-2 Convective Outlooks, all forms of Mesoscale Discussions and Status Reports issued within that UTC day (roughly 6 p.m. to 6 p.m. CST). The zipfile names denote the date of issuance. If a product -- usually a mesoscale discussion, or status report -- was issued around 6 p.m. CST, it may have been saved either in the file for the same day or the next day. Click on the date of the month to download that day's SPC Forecasts zipfile.
