Spring Program 2000
The Spring Program is a part of the NOAA Hazardous Weather Testbed.
Science Support Area

17 April - 2 June 2000

Forecasters and scientists from the Storm Prediction Center and National Severe Storms Laboratory will be participating in a spring research program which will focus on operationally relevant forecast problems from 17 April through 2 June 2000. The long term goal is for the experiment to act as a catalyst to stimulate collaborative research between forecasters and researchers in the local meteorological community.

In addition to the evaluation exercises, a daily map discussion and overview of previous day verification will be held daily at 1:00pm CDT in the Science Support Area. The map discussion is open to all SPC and NSSL staff.
