Daily Spring Program Schedule
Due to the diversity of IHOP
Science Missions, the daily schedule of weather briefings may vary.
Spring Program Participants are only expected to participate in standard
scheduled briefings. All other participation is at the discretion
of the forecast team.

Arrive at Science Support Area to begin Daily Activities. |

Divide Forecast Team into two groups and prepare overview of Day 1, Day 2, and extended forecasts. SPC Lead to prepare for 9am briefing around 8:45am. |

SPC Lead to facilitate preliminary weather briefing for IHOP principal investigators. Spring Program team to interact at their discretion. Primary focus on Day 1 with overview of Day 2+ |

Spring Program forecast team update Day 1 and Day 2 forecast products using 12Z model and other available data sets. |

Prepare Day 1 and Day 2 forecast graphics and text discussions. SPC Lead to prepare for formal shift briefing at 12:00 noon. |

data and displays. The weather portion typically lasts 8-12 minutes.
