NOTHING SIGNIFICANTLY FAILED, BUT THE SPEED PARAMETER DID FAIL TO PICK UP ON THE ACCELERATION OF THE LINE AS THE FORMED INTO A BOW AROUND 11Z. SIMILARLY, THE MAINTENANCE PARAMETER DECREASES STEADILY THROUGH THE PERIOD: THE LINE DID BREAK INTO SECTIONS AFTER A FEW HOURS, AND SOME OF THESE SECTIONS DID WEAKEN, BUT THE MIDDLE SECTION, AT LEAST REGROUPED AND STRENGTHENED INTO A BOW AND NO STRENGTHENING WAS INDICATED IN THE MAINTENANCE FIELD. OVERALL THOUGH, THE BOW WAS PRETTY WEAK AND CAME CLOSE TO DISSIPATING FOR A FEW HOURS BETWEEN 13-16Z BEFORE INTENSIFYING AGAIN. THE DCP STARTED RELATIVELY LOW AND WEAKENED WITH TIME, APPROPRIATELY. SHEAR WAS DECENT (30-35 KTS) EARLY IN THE SYSTEMS LIFE CYCLE, BUT DROPPED OF DRAMATICALLY IN THE MID-MORNING HOURS. SO THE PARAMTERS WOULD BE EXPECTED TO PERFORM TERRIBLY WELL DURING THIS PHASE OF THE SYTEM'S EVOLUTION. ALSO, THE FORECAST FIELDS MATCH PRETTY WELL WITH THE ANALYSES. THE 1600 TO 1800Z VALUES WERE TAKEN FROM THE 0600Z RUC. VALUES AFTER 1800Z WERE TAKEN FROM THE 0900Z RUC.
