   Valid 071200Z - 131200Z

   Split mid-level flow will persist across the country for much of the
   upcoming week. In the wake of a weak trough moving through the
   northern branch early in the week, cooler air will overspread the
   eastern two-thirds of the country. This cooler airmass will be
   reinforced by mid-to-late week as a secondary surge of cooler air
   accompanies another northern stream mid-level trough. The repeated
   cool-air intrusions will limit the overall fire-weather threat
   during this forecast period. 

   Farther west, temperatures will warm through the week resulting in a
   decrease in relative humidity. However, weak winds should limit the
   overall fire-weather threat. By late next weekend, model guidance
   suggests the likelihood of returning to cooler conditions.
