   SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SHOULD BUILD ACROSS THE NRN ROCKIES TODAY IN
   WAKE OF POTENT UPPER LOW WHICH BROUGHT SEVERE WEATHER THROUGHOUT
   MUCH OF MT.  EXPECT DAYTIME HIGH TEMPERATURES TO REBOUND AS A
   RESULT.  BROAD UPPER HIGH OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL CONTINUE TO
   DOMINATE MUCH OF THE WEST.  SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD DEVELOP
   ACROSS NM AND AZ AS MID-LEVEL MOISTURE ADVECTS WWD ALONG THE SRN
   PORTION OF THE HIGH.   
   
   ...EXTREME SERN MT/NWRN SD/SWRN ND...
   
   PRESSURE GRADIENTS WILL REMAIN RATHER TIGHT TODAY ACROSS MUCH OF
   THE REGION AS UPPER LOW DIVES SEWD AROUND THE NE PERIPHERY OF THE
   UPPER HIGH.  60 KNOT MID-LEVEL WINDS UNDERNEATH THIS GRADIENT
   SHOULD TRANSLATE 20-25 MPH WNW SUSTAINED WINDS TO THE
   SURFACE...WHILE 40 MPH GUSTS WILL BE COMMON ACROSS THE HIGHER
   TERRAIN OF SW ND.  RECENT RAINFALL HOWEVER...WILL KEEP RH VALUES
   BEHIND THE COLD FRONT AROUND 30-40 PERCENT.
