   MOVES NORTHEASTWARD THROUGH CALIFORNIA..NORTHWEST NEVADA AND INTO
   SOUTHERN IDAHO BY END OF PERIOD.  ANOTHER WEAK UPPER LEVEL STORM
   SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE DAKOTAS BY 00 UTC.

   PRIMARY CONDITIONS:  STRONG AND GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 30 MPH
   WITH GUSTS TO OVER 40 MPH AND LOWEST AFTERNOON HUMIDITY FROM 5 TO
   15 PERCENT.  ISOLATED DRY THUNDERSTORMS. 
   
   UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL BUILD SLOWLY SOUTHWARD ALONG THE PACIFIC
   COAST AS A WEAK COLD FRONT FROM NORTHWESTERN MONTANA THROUGH
   SOUTHWEST OREGON MOVES LITTLE THROUGH 12 UTC. AHEAD OF THE
   FRONT..STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS AND EXTREMELY DRY LOW LEVELS WILL
   CONTINUE DURING THE AFTERNOON.  SOME MID-LEVEL MOISTURE AHEAD OF
   AND COMBINED WITH THE WEAK UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM NOW MOVING
   NORTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA COAST MAY BE SUFFICIENT
   TO TRIGGER ISOLATED DRY THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF THIS
   AREA..BUT OVERALL INSTABILITY FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LIMITED.

   UPPER-LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL HOLD OVER A LARGE PART OF THE
   CENTRAL AND EASTERN U.S.

   WINDS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE AS STRONG AS ON WEDNESDAY ACROSS THIS
