   UPPER TROUGH OVER THE WRN U.S. WILL LIFT NEWD AND WEAKEN.  THIS
   WILL ALLOW A THERMAL TROUGH TO GRADUALLY BUILD NWD INTO CA.  AS A
   RESULT WARMER TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED INTO NRN CA...WHILE RH
   REMAINS LOW OVER MOST OF CA AND THE WRN GREAT BASIN.  A WEAK COLD
   FRONT WILL MOVE SWD THROUGH SD...SHIFTING WINDS TO NLY WHILE AT THE
   SAME TIME KEEPING RH WELL ABOVE CRITICAL LEVELS.  SCATTERED SHOWERS
   AND STORMS WILL OCCUR THROUGHOUT MUCH OF THE ROCKIES...FROM AZ INTO
   WY...AND ALSO ALONG THE COLD FRONT EXTENDING NEWD FROM WY THROUGH
   NEBRASKA SD AND MN.  HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE ERN HALF OF THE NATION
   WILL MAKE FOR WARM AND DRY AFTERNOONS WITH LIGHT WINDS.

   TEMPERATURES OVER THE PACIFIC NW AND CA.  IT WILL BE VERY DRY AS
   WELL IN THESE AREAS...BUT WINDS WILL BE LIGHT.  MOISTURE WILL MOVE
   INTO SRN CA BRINGING RAIN IN ASSOCIATION WITH A WEAK CUT OFF UPPER
   LOW...WHILE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE OVER
   THE FOUR CORNERS STATES.  HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE ERN U.S. WILL MAKE
   FOR WARM DRY AND CALM CONDITIONS.
