BEHIND A DEPARTING LONG-WAVE TROUGH OVER THE ERN U.S WILL PROVIDE
FOR BREEZY COND/S AND A WARMING TREND TO MUCH OF THE NRN/CENTRAL

20 MPH EARLY AND AGAIN LATE IN THE PERIOD OVER SRN CA...ALONG WITH

DAY 2 FIRE WEATHER OUTLOOK...REF AWIPS GRAPHIC PMWI98 KWNS
   VALID 041200-051200

...NO LARGE-SCALE SIGNIFICANT FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
NWLY FLOW WILL BE MAINTAINED OVER THE PLNS THROUGH THE PERIOD...AS
A SERIES OF MID LEVEL SHORTWAVE TROUGHS PROGRESS INLAND FROM THE
PAC NW/NRN ROCKIES INTO THE MEAN TROUGH CENTERED OVER THE ERN
STATES. ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL AGAIN OCCUR FROM SRN CA/GRT
BASIN INTO THE PLNS STATES. DESPITE RELATIVELY LOW RH READINGS OVER
MUCH OF THE SRN PLNS...GENERALLY LIGHT WINDS WILL PRECLUDE CRITICAL
FIRE WEATHER COND/S. THE ONLY AREA WHICH WILL SEE ANY FIRE WEATHER
CONCERNS WILL BE OVER FAR SRN CA...WHERE OFFSHORE WINDS FROM 15-25
MPH WILL LIKELY DEVELOP LATE IN THE DEVELOP IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN
AND BELOW PASSES AND CANYONS...AS OFFSHORE PRESSURE/THERMAL
GRADIENTS INCREASE. HOWEVER...COND/S PRESENT LESS THAN A CRITICAL
   FIRE WEATHER THREAT.
