   PATTERN PERSISTS FOR THE WRN CONUS. EARLY MORNING WATER VAPOR
   IMAGERY SHOWS AN ACTIVE UPPER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM LIFTING NORTHEAST
   TOWARD THE BC COAST. UPSTREAM...SEVERAL UPPER DISTURBANCES WILL
   BEGIN TO FORM STRONG TROUGH IN ERN PACIFIC. THIS FEATURE WILL
   EVENTUALLY MOVE INTO THE SWRN U.S. LATER IN THE WEEK...RESULTING IN
   WINDY CONDITIONS FOR THE REGION.
   
   AT LOWER LEVELS...SFC COLD FRONT WILL PUSH EWD ACROSS PACIFIC
   NORTHWEST/NRN CA...WITH ABUNDANT PRECIPITATION LIKELY IN SOME
   LOCATIONS. IN ADDITION THERE WILL BE VERY STRONG S/SWLY GRADIENT
   WINDS...WITH GUSTS OF 50-65 MPH POSSIBLE. HIGH PRESSURE WILL RESULT
   IN LIGHT WINDS ACROSS SRN CA/SRN PLAINS.

   AROUND THE BASE OF THE TROUGH. IN THE WEST...ERN PACIFIC STORM
   SYSTEM WILL MOVE ONSHORE. SWLY WINDS ALOFT WILL INCREASE TO 40-60 KT
   ACROSS CNTRL CA/NV WITH EVEN HIGHER WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE JET
   MAX FARTHER NORTH. AT THE SFC...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD ACROSS
   CNTRL U.S. 
   
   STRONG GRADIENT WINDS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS CNTRL CA/PACIFIC NW BUT
   WEAK RIDGE OVER FOUR CORNERS AREA SHOULD PREVENT STRONG SFC WINDS
   FROM DEVELOPING ON TUESDAY. SFC WINDS WILL PICK UP BY EARLY
   WEDNESDAY MORNING...AND FURTHER INCREASE BY AFTERNOON.
