   ...SYNOPSIS...
TWO MAIN STORM SYSTEMS OF INTEREST TO FIRE WEATHER ARE NOTED ON
EARLY MORNING WATER VAPOR IMAGERY. THE FIRST IS A SHORTWAVE TROUGH
NOW OVER THE UPPER MIDWEST...WHICH WILL CONTINUE MOVING SOUTHEAST
OVER THE OH RIVER VALLEY TODAY. A MID LEVEL SPEED MAX AROUND 70 KTS
WILL ACCOMPANY THE LARGE SCALE HEIGHT FALLS WHICH WILL DEVELOP INTO
THE NORTHEAST LATE TODAY. AT THE SFC...A COLD FRONT WILL ACCELERATE
SWD...TO EXTEND FROM WRN PA/WV/ERN TN SWWD INTO SRN AR/SRN OK BY
THIS EVENING. THE MAIN FIRE WEATHER CONCERN WILL BE ASSOCIATED WITH
THE STRONG POST FRONTAL WINDS MAINLY AFFECTING THE OH VALLEY REGION.
THE SECOND UPPER LOW IN THE SWRN CONUS WILL HELP INITIATE HIGH BASED
TSTMS IN AND AROUND THE FOUR CORNERS REGION. STRONG ERRATIC WINDS
WILL BE A THREAT WITH STRONGER STORMS.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BEGIN TO BUILD ACROSS THE WEST COAST WHICH WILL
RESULT IN OFFSHORE WINDS STARTING EARLY FRIDAY.

   ...UPPER MIDWEST/OH RIVER VALLEY...
A SFC COLD FRONT EXTENDING FROM WRN WI INTO CNTRL IA/KS EARLY THIS
MORNING WILL PUSH E/SE ACROSS IL/IN/MO...RESULTING IN STRONG N/NWLY
SFC WINDS. AHEAD OF THE FRONT...TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL RISE INTO
THE 60S WITH MINIMUM RH VALUES RANGING FROM 24-28 PERCENT ACROSS THE
MO OZARKS INTO THE OH RIVER VALLEY. THE STRONGEST SFC WINDS WILL
LIKELY BE ACROSS NRN/CNTRL IL AND SRN WI...BUT TEMPERATURES WILL
ALSO BE COOLER...GENERALLY IN THE 50S. WHILE AN OUTLOOK AREA IS NOT
NEEDED...THERE WILL BE AN INCREASED THREAT FOR WIND DRIVEN FIRES

RIDGE WILL AMPLIFY ON FRIDAY AS HEIGHTS BUILD ACROSS THE WEST. NLY
FLOW ALOFT WILL INCREASE ACROSS NRN CA/OREGON RESULTING IN DRIER
CONDITIONS AND GUSTY SFC WINDS. ELSEWHERE...SHORTWAVE OVER AZ
THURSDAY MORNING WILL WEAKEN AS IT MOVES INTO THE SRN PLAINS BY
FRIDAY AFTERNOON. AT THE SFC...LOW PRESSURE IN THE WRN HIGH PLAINS
WILL DROP SOUTHEAST WHILE A COLD FRONT ACROSS N CNTRL TX BEGINS TO
LIFT BACK NWD AS A WARM FRONT.

   ...SRN PLAINS/NM...
GUSTY SLY SFC WINDS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE SRN PLAINS FRIDAY...WITH
W/SWLY FLOW ACROSS NM. HIGH RH VALUES IN THE SRN PLAINS WILL HELP
OFFSET THE INCREASED WIND THREAT. HOWEVER...A DRYLINE WILL PUSH E
ACROSS W TX DURING THE AFTN...AND MINIMUM RH VALUES WILL FALL BELOW
25 PERCENT WITH GUSTY W WINDS AS THIS OCCURS INCREASING THE THREAT
   FOR WIND DRIVEN FIRES.
