   DIGS SWD ALONG THE CA COAST. AT THE SURFACE...EAST-WEST ORIENTED
   FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL GENERALLY BISECT THE COUNTRY...WITH HIGH
   PRESSURE REMAINING OVER THE SE STATES.

   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: GUSTY S/SW WINDS AND LOW RH/HOT TEMPERATURES
   
   INCREASING S/SW WINDS AMIDST A HOT/DRY AIRMASS WILL INDUCE AN
   ELEVATED FIRE DANGER ACROSS MUCH OF THE SRH HIGH PLAINS TODAY. S/SW
   WINDS OF 15-30 MPH /WITH GUSTS OF 35-40 MPH/ ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
   BY EARLY AFTERNOON WITHIN WELL MIXED ENVIRONMENT WEST OF
   DRYLINE...SUPPORTED BY TIGHTENING PRESSURE GRADIENT AND MID LEVEL
   WIND SPEED MAXIMA. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE MIDDLE 80S
   TO MIDDLE 90S...WITH RH VALUES AROUND/BELOW CRITICAL THRESHOLDS.
   COMBINATION OF GUSTY WINDS AND DEEPLY MIXED AIRMASS WILL SUPPORT
   FAST FIRE GROWTH/WIND DRIVEN POTENTIAL.

   GUSTY S/SW WINDS OF 15-25 MPH WILL OCCUR ALONG/AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT
   PROGRESSING SWD THROUGH THE GREAT BASIN. AFTERNOON RH IS EXPECTED TO
   BE MARGINAL COINCIDENT WITH STRONGEST WIND SPEEDS...THUS CRITICAL
   ISSUANCE IS NOT WARRANTED IN SPITE OF AN ELEVATED FIRE DANGER DUE TO

   PLAINS...SERVING AS A PRIMARY FOCUS FOR SCATTERED SHOWERS/TSTMS IN
   THE CNTRL/ERN CONUS.
   
   ...NRN/CTNRL AZ INTO ERN NM/FAR SRN CO/FAR WRN TX...
   GUSTY WINDS WILL REMAIN ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION ON TUESDAY OWING
   TO SOUTHWEST UPPER TROUGH/MODEST PRESSURE GRADIENT. BROAD SCALE S/SW
   WINDS WILL LIKELY BE IN THE 15-30 MPH RANGE WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
   HOWEVER INCREASED CLOUD COVER...SLIGHTLY COOLER TEMPERATURES...AND
   MARGINALLY HIGH RH SUGGEST CRITICAL FIRE ISSUANCE IS NOT WARRANTED.
