   RIDGE WILL BUILD ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST TODAY...WITH RELATIVELY LIGHT
   SFC WINDS EXPECTED. THE MAIN STORM SYSTEMS WILL TRACK ACROSS THE
   CNTRL PORTION OF THE CONUS TODAY...WITH SRN STREAM SHORTWAVE NOW
   OVER THE WRN HIGH PLAINS LIFTING NEWD ACROSS THE MID MS VALLEY.
   ANOTHER SHORTWAVE TROUGH WILL MOVE FROM THE NRN ROCKIES INTO THE
   UPPER MIDWEST BY LATE IN THE PERIOD. AT THE SFC...A STRONG COLD
   FRONT WILL DROP SWD ACROSS WY EXTENDING FROM NE CO/SW WY/WRN MT BY
   06/00Z. STRONGER SFC WINDS BEHIND THE FRONT WILL DEVELOP ACROSS
   WY/CO PARTIALLY IN RESPONSE TO THE DEEPENING SFC LOW PRESSURE IN THE
   PLAINS. HOWEVER...COOLER TEMPERATURES AND HIGHER RH VALUES WILL
   OFFSET ANY FIRE WEATHER RISKS. 
   
   SCATTERED SHOWERS/TSTMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF
   WY/CO. ISOLATED DRY LIGHTNING IS POSSIBLE WITH STORMS...THOUGH THE
   MAJORITY WILL CONTAIN SOME RAIN.

   WARMER THAN NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND DRY WEATHER ON TUESDAY. AT THE
   SAME TIME...THE NEXT UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH THE
   PACIFIC NORTHWEST...WITH A SFC COLD FRONT EXTENDING ACROSS WRN WA/NW
   OREGON BY TUE AFTN. THE COLD FRONT WHICH WILL BE LOCATED ACROSS
   CO/WY ON MONDAY...WILL TRACK SWD INTO NERN NM/W TX BY TUESDAY. LOW
   LEVEL UPSLOPE FLOW WILL DEVELOP...AND COMBINED WITH SUFFICIENT
   MOISTURE...WILL RESULT IN SCATTERED SHOWERS/TSTMS TUE AFTN/EVENING.
   ALTHOUGH ISOLATED DRY LIGHTNING WILL BE POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY AS
   STORMS ARE INITIALLY DEVELOPING...MOST STORMS WILL CONTAIN SOME
