   SERVE AS A FOCUS FOR PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE CNTRL/ERN CONUS...ONE
   FROM THE SRN PLAINS INTO THE SE STATES...THE OTHER FROM THE CNTRL
   HIGH PLAINS EWD TO THE WRN GREAT LAKES. IN THE WEST...IN SPITE OF
   WARM/DRY CONDITIONS...WEAK SYNOPTIC SCALE WINDS WILL PRECLUDE LARGE
   SCALE CRITICAL FIRE AREAS.
   
   ...INTERIOR PORTIONS OF CA/ORE/WA AND WRN GREAT BASIN....
   HOT THERMAL AXIS WILL PERSIST FROM THE LOWER CO RIVER VALLEY INTO
   ERN ORE/WA....WITH ABOVE NORMAL AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES AND NEAR
   CRITICAL RH VALUES IN MUCH OF THIS CORRIDOR...ESPECIALLY IN INTERIOR
   ORE AND WA WHERE 90S WILL BE COMMON. WHILE LARGE SCALE WINDS WILL
   REMAIN WEAK...HOT/DRY AIRMASS...ASSOCIATED STEEP LAPSE RATES...AND
   LOCAL CIRCULATIONS WILL NEVERTHELESS SUPPORT PLUME DOMINATED FIRE

   SHORTWAVE TROUGH DIGGING SEWD ACROSS THE WRN CANADIAN PROVINCES.
   SCATTERED PRECIPITATION WILL EXIST ACROSS A GOOD PORTION OF THE ERN
   HALF OF THE COUNTRY. 
   
   HOT/DRY AIRMASS WILL REMAIN ACROSS INTERIOR PORTIONS OF CA/ORE/WA ON
   FRIDAY. VERY WARM AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE ACROSS CNTRL
   AND ERN PORTIONS OF ORE/WA...WITH MID AND UPPER 90S
   COMMON...COINCIDENT WITH RH VALUES NEAR CRITICAL THRESHOLDS. HOWEVER
   RELATIVELY WEAK BROAD SCALE WINDS WILL PRECLUDE CRITICAL FIRE AREAS
   ACROSS THE WRN STATES.
