   POTENT UPPER TROUGH WILL CONTINUE TO PIVOT EWD ACROSS ERN CANADA AND
   THE UPPER MIDWEST/GREAT LAKES REGION TODAY/TONIGHT. WRN CONUS UPPER
   RIDGE WILL BEGIN TO DAMPEN AS SHORTWAVE TROUGH NEARS THE BC/WA COAST
   BY THE END OF THE PERIOD. ALONG A COLD FRONT...SCATTERED
   PRECIPITATION WILL BE COMMON FROM CNTRL TX INTO THE MIDDLE
   MISSISSIPPI/OHIO VALLEYS AND PORTIONS OF THE NE STATES.
   
   ...INTERIOR PORTIONS OF WA/ORE...
   ALTHOUGH UPPER RIDGE WILL BEGIN TO DECAY...ANOTHER DAY OF ABOVE
   NORMAL TEMPERATURES IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST.
   AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN AROUND 10 DEG ABOVE NORMAL...WITH
   HIGH TEMPS IN THE 90S COMMON ACROSS INTERIOR SECTIONS. 
   AFTERNOON RH VALUES WILL BE NEAR CRITICAL THRESHOLDS AS WELL.
   HOWEVER...BROAD SCALE WINDS WILL REMAIN MODEST /GENERALLY 10 MPH OR
   LESS/...WITH WINDS LARGELY DOMINATED BY LOCAL PROCESSES/TERRAIN.
   
   ADDITIONALLY...ISOLD TSTMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON/EVENING...
   MAINLY ACROSS CNTRL/ERN ORE. ALTHOUGH LIGHTNING STRIKES MAY CAUSE

   REGION REMAINDER OF THE WEEKEND. IN THE EAST ALONG AND AHEAD OF E/SE
   TRANSITIONING COLD FRONT...SCATTERED SHOWERS/TSTMS WILL BE COMMON
   FROM THE ERN SEABOARD INTO THE GULF COAST STATES.

   GUSTY WINDS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS CNTRL/ERN MT SATURDAY AFTERNOON
   AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT OUT OF SRN CANADA. W/NW WINDS
   WILL LIKELY BE IN THE 15-20 MPH RANGE...WITH HIGHER GUSTS. WARM/DRY
   CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED AS WELL AS TEMPERATURES WARM AROUND 10 DEG
   FROM FRIDAY...WITH MID/UPPER 80S AFTERNOON TEMPS AND RH VALUES NEAR
   CRITICAL THRESHOLDS. ADDITIONALLY...WELL MIXED PROFILES/STEEP LAPSE
   RATES WILL FURTHER ENHANCE FIRE GROWTH POTENTIAL.
