   TO YIELD A RATHER BENIGN FIRE WEATHER PATTERN TODAY/TONIGHT. UPPER
   TROUGH AND ACCOMPANYING SFC LOW/FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL PRODUCE A
   BROAD COVERAGE OF PRECIPITATION FROM THE MISSOURI VALLEY/LOWER
   MISSISSIPPI VALLEY INTO THE OHIO VALLEY/SRN NEW ENGLAND. IN THE WAKE
   OF THIS SYSTEM...COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL CONTINUE TO PROGRESS SWD
   THROUGH THE PLAINS. MUCH OF THE WRN STATES WILL REMAIN DRY THROUGH
   THE PERIOD...WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SCATTERED SHOWERS IN NRN CA AND
   RESIDUAL SNOW IN THE CNTRL ROCKIES.
