   COMMON ACROSS THE NE STATES/APPALACHIANS AS COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH
   THE ERN STATES. IN THE WEST...LEADING SHORTWAVE TROUGH WILL APPROACH
   THE CA COAST LATE TONIGHT...WHILE STRONGER TROUGH DIGS SWD OFF THE
   PACIFIC NORTHWEST. SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE COMMON ACROSS PORTIONS OF
   THE NRN/CNTRL ROCKIES AND WA/ORE CASCADES...WITH PRECIPITATION ALSO
   INCREASING INTO CA LATE IN THE PERIOD. OTHERWISE HIGH
   PRESSURE/ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL ENCOMPASS THE NATIONS MID SECTION.
