   AN UPPER TROUGH WILL AFFECT THE WRN U.S. TODAY...BRINGING MODERATE
   WIND ENERGY INTO THE DESERT SW AND COMBINING WITH A DRY AIR MASS TO
   PRODUCE BORDERLINE CRITICAL CONDITIONS TO SRN AZ AND SWRN NM. 
   FARTHER E...HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN GENERALLY E OF THE MS BUT A
   WEAKER UPPER TROUGH AND ASSOCIATED SURFACE LOW OFF THE SERN COAST
   WILL BRING RAIN TO AL / GA / FL / CAROLINAS.  A LOW PRESSURE TROUGH
   / WIND SHIFT WILL BE PRESENT ACROSS THE UPPER MS VALLEY FROM SD INTO
   MN...WITH GUSTY SLY WINDS DURING THE DAY ALONG WITH INCREASING RH
   AND THUNDERSTORMS BY AFTERNOON.
   
   ...LOWER CO RIVER VALLEY / SRN AZ / SWRN NM...
   IT WILL BECOME WINDY TODAY AS UPPER TROUGH MOVES INTO THE AREA.
   SUSTAINED SWLY WINDS OF 20-25 MPH WILL OCCUR FROM SERN CA INTO NRN
   AZ...WHERE RH LEVELS WILL DROP TO NEAR 20 PERCENT THIS AFTERNOON. 
   FURTHER...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND N
   OF THE MOGOLLON RIM. 
   
   FARTHER S...LOWER RH VALUES WILL EXIST WHERE TEMPERATURES WILL BE
   WARMER IN THE 80S AND 90S.  MIN RH VALUES OF 12-18 PERCENT APPEAR
   LIKELY ACROSS SRN AZ AND SWRN NM.  WIND SPEEDS IN THESE AREAS WILL
   BE A BIT LESS...AVERAGING 15-20 MPH SUSTAINED WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
   
   ...MS / AR / LA...
   IT WILL CONTINUE TO BE DRY DURING THE DAYTIME DUE TO HIGH PRESSURE.
   WARM TEMPERATURES IN THE 80S TODAY WILL ALLOW FOR MIN RH OF 30-35
   PERCENT OVER THIS REGION. WINDS WILL BE LIGHT HOWEVER.

   ROCKIES...BRINGING STRONG WINDS TO AZ AND NM.  FARTHER E...ANOTHER
   UPPER TROUGH WILL BE OVER THE CAROLINAS WITH SURFACE LOW
   OFFSHORE...PRODUCING HEAVY RAINS.  AIR MASS OVER THE LOWER MS VALLEY
   WILL MODIFY A BIT AS DEWPOINTS INCREASE AND PRESSURES LOWER OVER THE
   PLAINS.
   
   ...SERN AZ / SWRN NM...
   COMBINATION OF MARGINALLY LOW RH AND STRONG WINDS WILL ALLOW FOR
   NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS FRIDAY. THIS AREA COULD BE
   UPGRADED TO CRITICAL IF FORECAST RH LOWERS IN NEXT DAY 1 OUTLOOK.
   
   UPPER TROUGH WILL CONTINUE EWD ACROSS SRN ROCKIES WITH STRONG MID
   LEVEL JET STREAK POSITIONED ACROSS AZ AND NM FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
   STRONG AND GUSTY SWLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP...WITH SUSTAINED SPEEDS OF
   20-25 MPH. AT THE SAME TIME...HIGH CLOUDS WILL INCREASE THROUGHOUT
   THE DAYTIME...WHICH MAY LIMIT HEATING. AS A RESULT...IT APPEARS RH
   VALUES NEAR 15 PERCENT WILL BE POSSIBLE...BUT CONFIDENCE WILL BE
   HIGHER IN NEXT DAY 1 OUTLOOK.
