   ALLOW FOR INCREASED WIND SPEEDS ACROSS THE SRN GREAT BASIN AND
   DESERT SW. AT THE SURFACE...LOW PRESSURE WILL DEEPEN DURING THE DAY
   ACROSS SRN NV / SERN CA WITH THERMAL RIDGE AXIS EXTENDING NWD FROM
   THE LOWER CO RIVER VALLEY INTO SRN NV. FARTHER E ACROSS NM...RH WILL
   BE LOW BUT WINDS WILL BE LIGHTER UNDERNEATH UPPER SHORTWAVE RIDGING.
   
   ELSEWHERE...MOIST CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL ACROSS THE PACIFIC NW /
   NRN ROCKIES UNDER UPPER TROUGH...AND OVER THE SERN GULF STATES WHERE
   HEAVY RAINS WILL OCCUR IN ASSOCIATION WITH RICH TROPICAL MOISTURE
   INFLUX AND WEAK SURFACE LOW.

   AND SERN CA...
   
   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: MODERATE GUSTY WINDS ALONG WITH LOW AFTERNOON RH
   
   BROAD UPPER TROUGH WILL CONTINUE TO DROP SWD AND WILL RESULT IN
   INCREASING WIND SPEEDS THROUGHOUT THE DAY.  BY AFTERNOON...SUSTAINED
   SWLY WINDS NEAR 20 MPH WILL BE LIKELY. STRONG HEATING WILL AID THE
   DEVELOPMENT OF WIND GUSTS IN THE 25-35 MPH RANGE AND CAUSE MDT LOWER
   ATMOSPHERIC INSTABILITY AND TURBULENCE TO DEVELOP. MIN RH VALUES
   NEAR 15 PERCENT WILL BE LIKELY. 
   
   STRONG WINDS WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT IN THE HIGH TERRAIN.
   
   ...WRN CO / SRN AND ERN AZ / WRN AND CENTRAL NM...
   WIND SPEEDS WILL BE LESS ACROSS THESE AREAS WITH MAIN UPPER TROUGH
   FARTHER TO THE WEST. HOWEVER...RH WILL BE LOW AT 10-15 PERCENT ALONG
   WITH SUSTAINED SWLY WINDS NEAR 15 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.

   SERN STATES WITH AMPLE AVAILABLE MOISTURE AND A WEAK UPPER SHORTWAVE

   PRESENCE OF UPPER TROUGH WILL CAUSE WINDS TO INCREASE ON THURSDAY
   WHILE RH REMAINS FAIRLY LOW. SUSTAINED SWLY WINDS WILL AVERAGE 20-25
   MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS OVER 30 MPH. TEMPERATURES WILL NOT BE
   PARTICULARLY HOT...BUT RH WILL DROP TO NEAR 15 PERCENT BY AFTERNOON.
   RH WILL RECOVERY OVERNIGHT QUITE WELL GIVEN STRONG COOLING.
   
   ....SRN AZ / REST OF NM...
   THE AREA SURROUNDING CRITICAL AREA 1 WILL SEE SLIGHTLY LIGHTER WIND
   SPEEDS ON THE ORDER OF 15-20 MPH ALTHOUGH RH WILL BE LOW AT 10-15
