   MIDWEST INTO THE CNTRL HIGH PLAINS...AS WELL AS MUCH OF NM/ERN AZ.
   ELSEWHERE UPPER RIDGING/SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE PREVALENT FROM
   THE NE STATES/MID ATLANTIC INTO THE SRN ROCKIES.

   AMIDST SHORTWAVE UPPER RIDGING DOWNSTREAM OF UPPER TROUGH OFF THE
   ORE COAST...WINDS WILL GENERALLY REMAIN LIGHT THROUGH THE PERIOD
   FROM THE GREAT BASIN INTO ID/WRN WY. SUSTAINED S/SW BROAD SCALE
   WINDS SHOULD PEAK AROUND 10 MPH THIS AFTERNOON. WELL MIXED/WARM
   AIRMASS WILL PROMOTE MDT/HIGH HAINES INDICES DURING THE
   AFTERNOON...WHICH MAY SIGNAL SOME ENHANCED FIRE GROWTH.

   NRN CA COAST. SUSTAINED S/SW WINDS WILL LIKELY BE AROUND 15 MPH
