   THE STRONG UPPER RIDGE WHICH HAS BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR RECORD HIGH
   TEMPERATURES WILL BEGIN TO BREAK DOWN THIS PERIOD...ALTHOUGH IT WILL
   REMAIN HOT AND DRY OVER THE SRN PLAINS. TO THE WEST...A WEAK UPPER
   SHORTWAVE TROUGH WILL PROGRESS EWD THROUGH GREAT BASIN INTO WY AND
   WILL CAUSE SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WITH THE HELP OF A COLD FRONT
   WHICH WILL EXTEND FROM SRN MN SWWD TOWARDS SRN WY WED AFTERNOON.
   THESE STORMS WILL BE WET IN NATURE DUE TO COOLER TEMPERATURES AND
   HIGHER RH BUT STRONG WINDS WILL OCCUR BEHIND THE FRONT.

   A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH DURING THE MORNING AND MIDDAY
   HOURS...CAUSING WINDS TO GRADUALLY SHIFT TO NWLY AND STRENGTHEN TO
   15-20 MPH. AFTER A COOL MORNING...TEMPERATURES WILL HEAT INTO THE
   80S WITH MIN RH VALUES OF 15-20 PERCENT. SOME HIGH CLOUDS WILL
   DEVELOP AND HELP KEEP TEMPERATURES COOL.
   
   ...CENTRAL AND ERN TX / WRN LA / SRN AR...
   VERY HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST TODAY WITH ABNORMALLY
   STRONG UPPER RIDGE IN PLACE. HOT TEMPERATURES NEAR 100 WILL ALLOW RH
   TO DROP INTO THE 25-30 PERCENT RANGE. ALTHOUGH WINDS WILL BE
   LIGHT...PRECLUDING ANY CRITICAL THREAT...DROUGHT CONDITIONS PERSIST
   WITH VERY HIGH KBDI VALUES IN EXCESS OF 700.

   UPPER RIDGE OVER THE SRN PLAINS WILL CONTINUE TO BREAK DOWN ON
   THURSDAY...AS STRONG AND AMPLIFYING UPPER TROUGH DEVELOPS OVER THE
   WRN STATES. AT THE SURFACE...TWO STRONG COLD FRONTS WILL EXIST...THE
   FIRST WILL EXTEND FROM THE OHIO VALLEY SWWD INTO OK AND NERN NM. THE
   SECOND WILL BE A PACIFIC FRONT FROM NWRN MT ACROSS CENTRAL ID AND
   SERN OREGON. BOTH FRONTS WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH SEWD WITH COOLER
   TEMPERATURES. THE ONLY HOT AND DRY AREAS WILL BE THE DESERT SW AND
   SRN PLAINS...AND BOTH AREAS WILL HAVE LIGHT WINDS.
