   SURFACE...A COLD FRONT WILL EXTEND FROM OH SWWD INTO THE TX
   PANHANDLE AND NRN NM. BEHIND THIS FRONT...TEMPERATURES WILL BE MUCH
   COOLER WITH NLY WINDS. IT WILL REMAIN VERY WARM SOUTH OF THE
   FRONT...WITH LOW RH VALUES OVER MUCH OF TX AND LA.
   
   ...ERN TX / AR / LA...
   IT WILL CONTINUE TO BE VERY HOT WITH HIGHS NEAR 100 AND MIN RH
   VALUES OF 25-30 PERCENT. GIVEN LONG TERM DROUGHT IN PLACE...AND
   STEEP LOW LEVEL LAPSE RATES DURING THE AFTERNOON...SOME ENHANCED
   THREAT WILL EXIST. ALTHOUGH GENERALLY LIGHT...WINDS WILL BE UP FROM
   PREVIOUS DAYS...WITH SUSTAINED SPEEDS NEAR 10 MPH OUT OF THE NE AS
   PRESSURE BEGINS TO FALL IN RESPONSE TO APPROACHING HURRICANE RITA.

   OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL ALLOW FOR INCREASED WINDS AND LOW RH.

   WILL BE WINDY IN SPOTS WITH SUSTAINED SWLY WINDS OF 15-20 MPH. RH
