   ...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
MAIN FEATURE THIS FORECAST PERIOD WILL BE A STRONG SHORTWAVE TROUGH
THAT WILL MOVE OUT OF THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS INTO THE UPPER MS
VALLEY AND NRN GREAT LAKES REGION. DEEPENING SURFACE LOW WILL CAUSE
VERY WINDY CONDITIONS THROUGH MUCH OF THE PLAINS STATES...ALTHOUGH
TEMPERATURES WILL BE COOL N OF THE LOW. COMBINATION OF WARM
TEMPERATURES...MODERATELY LOW RH AND GUSTY WINDS WILL EXIST OVER
SERN CO AND ERN NM...WRN KS/OK AND THE TX PANHANDLE BEHIND A
   DRYLINE.

FARTHER E...HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE MID ATLANTIC WILL SHIFT
EWD...ALLOWING RH LEVELS TO RISE OVER FL AND THE GULF COAST REGION
WHERE IT HAS BEEN DRY. AN AREA OF LOWER RH LEVELS WILL EXIST THOUGH
FROM NRN GA/AL INTO THE APPALACHIANS.

   ...SRN HIGH PLAINS...
STRONG FLOW ALOFT ON BACKSIDE OF DEPARTING UPPER TROUGH ALONG WITH
STRONG HEATING WILL ALLOW FOR STRONG VERTICAL MIXING AND GUSTY WLY
WINDS TODAY. SUSTAINED WLY WINDS OF 15-25 MPH WILL OCCUR BY LATE
MORNING. WIND SPEEDS WILL DECREASE DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS AS THE
TROUGH CONTINUES EWD. HOWEVER...WINDS WILL STILL BE STRONG ENOUGH
FOR MARGINAL FIRE WEATHER THREAT DURING THE AFTERNOON WHEN RH LEVELS
RANGE FROM THE UPPER TEENS OVER ERN NM TO NEAR 30 PERCENT OVER WRN
   OK.

   ...WRN CAROLINAS / NRN GA...
AFTER A VERY COOL START TO THE DAY...TEMPERATURES WILL WARM MAINLY
INTO THE 60S...ALLOWING RH LEVELS TO DROP INTO THE 25-30 PERCENT
RANGE. ALTHOUGH IT HAS BEEN DRY RECENTLY...WINDS WILL BE LIGHT...AND
INVERSION HEIGHTS WILL BE LOW...MITIGATING FIRE POTENTIAL.
