   ...SYNOPSIS...
UPPER WAVE IN WRN ALBERTA EARLY THIS MORNING WILL MOVE INTO THE NRN
PLAINS BY TONIGHT. AS IT DOES SO...SFC LOW PRESSURE OVER ERN MT WILL
DEEPEN DURING THE DAY...AS A COLD FRONT SURGES SWD ACROSS
SCNTRL/SERN MT. STRONG POST-FRONTAL WINDS COMBINED WITH LOW
HUMIDITY/HOT TEMPERATURES WILL CONTRIBUTE TO CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS THIS AFTN/EVENING. LEE TROUGH WILL PERSIST IN THE
PLAINS...WITH BREEZY WINDS FROM NCNTRL TX THROUGH KS. GUSTY WINDS
ARE ALSO EXPECTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE COLUMBIA BASIN.

...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER AREA - SCNTRL AND SERN MT/NERN WY...

PRIMARY CONDITIONS: LOW HUMIDITY/GUSTY POST FRONTAL WINDS/LONG TERM
   DROUGHT

WINDS WILL BE E/SELY EARLY IN THE DAY...BEFORE CHANGING TO THE W/NW
AS THE FRONT PASSES. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO SHIFT BY MID TO LATE
MORNING. AS TEMPERATURES WARM INTO THE LOW/MID 90S...STRONG
POST-FRONTAL WINDS WILL INCREASE INTO THE 15-20 MPH RANGE WITH
STRONGER GUSTS. MIN RH VALUES WILL FALL BELOW 20 PERCENT WITH
TEMP/DEWPOINT SPREADS OF 50+ DEGREES. HIGH BASED TSTMS MAY ALSO
DEVELOP...AND ALTHOUGH SOME RAIN WILL OCCUR WITH MOST STORMS...ISOLD

STARTS. GUSTY AND LOCALLY ERRATIC WINDS WILL ACCOMPANY STORMS.

   ...ERN SLOPES OF CASCADES/COLUMBIA BASIN...
MAX TEMPS WILL CLIMB INTO THE 90S WITH VERY LOW RH VALUES BELOW 15
PERCENT. GUSTY WINDS DEVELOPED ON TUESDAY ALONG THE ERN SLOPES OF
THE CASCADES IN CNTRL WA. MODERATELY STRONG WINDS ARE POSSIBLE TODAY
AS WELL OWING TO A TIGHT SFC PRESSURE GRADIENT. LATEST OBS SHOW HIGH
TO EXTREME FIRE DANGER CLASS VALUES ACROSS THE REGION.

   ...SRN/CNTRL PLAINS...
A TROPICAL UPPER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE NWD TODAY ACROSS
ECNTRL TX. ABUNDANT CLOUD COVER ASSOCIATED WITH CONVECTIVE DEBRIS
WILL LIKELY SPREAD ACROSS NCNTRL TX/OK TODAY...WHICH SHOULD RESULT
IN LOWER HIGH TEMPS THAN TODAY. HOWEVER TEMPS WILL STILL BE IN THE
90S TO AROUND 100 IN SCNTRL KS WITH CONTINUED LOW RH VALUES. GUSTY
SLY WINDS WILL INCREASE FIRE DANGER TODAY.
