   WILL HELP DRIVE SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SEWD FROM THE CNTRL/NRN HIGH
   PLAINS INTO THE LOWER MS/TN VALLEYS...WITH COOL TEMPERATURES AND
   WINDY CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE NRN PLAINS. HUMIDITY WILL
   LOWER ACROSS THE GULF COAST BUT WINDS WILL BE LIGHT.  TO THE
   WEST...UPPER RIDGE CENTERED OVER OREGON WILL STRENGTHEN A BIT
   BRINGING WARMER TEMPERATURES AND LOW RH. TO THE SOUTH...CLOSED UPPER
   LOW OFF THE CA COAST WILL BEGIN TO MIGRATE EWD...AFFECTING SRN CA
   EARLY FRI WITH COOLER TEMPERATURES.

   THERMAL RIDGE AXIS WILL BE IN PLACE TODAY WITH WARMING TEMPERATURES
   AND RH LEVELS DROPPING INTO THE 10-20 PERCENT RANGE. WINDS WILL BE
   LIGHT...BUT THE WARM AND DRY ENVIRONMENT MAY ALLOW FOR A LATE
   AFTERNOON INCREASE IN FIRE ACTIVITY IN VICINITY OF ONGOING FIRES.

   IT WILL BE DRY TODAY IN POST FRONTAL AIR MASS WITH HIGH PRESSURE
   BUILDING IN FROM THE WEST. MIN RH VALUES OF 30-35 PERCENT WILL BE
   COMMON AS TEMPERATURES RISE INTO THE 70S AND LOWER 80S.

   IT WILL BE VERY WINDY TODAY AS LARGE LOW DEEPENS TO THE NE.

   CA COAST WILL MOVE ASHORE LATE FRI...BRINGING COOLER TEMPERATURES
   AND SOME PRECIPITATION TO SRN CA. STRONG NWLY WINDS WILL PERSIST
   ACROSS THE CNTRL/NRN PLAINS AND UPPER MS VALLEY...WITH THE LOWEST
   HUMIDITY ACROSS CNTRL SD INTO NEB. A REINFORCEMENT OF HIGH PRESSURE
   WILL SETTLE INTO THE LOWER MS VALLEY WHILE A WEAK COLD FRONT CAUSES
   RAIN OVER THE CAROLINAS/VA.
