   ANOTHER UPPER TROUGH WILL MOVE EWD FROM THE ROCKIES INTO THE PLAINS
   THROUGH TONIGHT. AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM...SCT PRECIPITATION WILL OCCUR
   OVER PORTIONS OF THE SRN PLAINS. IN THE WAKE OF THIS SYSTEM...HIGH
   PRESSURE WILL REMAIN OVER THE GREAT BASIN. AN OFFSHORE PRESSURE
   GRADIENT WILL EXIST TO SUPPORT MODEST WINDS ALONG THE HIGHER TERRAIN
   OF SRN CA...HOWEVER CRITICALLY STRONG WINDS ARE NOT EXPECTED. A
   BROAD SFC HIGH PRESSURE AREA LOCATED OVER THE MID-ATLANTIC WILL AID
   IN LOW RH READINGS TO THIS REGION. HOWEVER...LIGHT WINDS WILL
   PRECLUDE CRITICAL CONDITIONS.

   7-9 MB OFFSHORE PRESSURE GRADIENT BETWEEN SRN NV AND SRN CA COAST
   WILL SUPPORT MODEST NELY WINDS FROM 15-25 MPH OVER THE HIGHER
   TERRAIN EARLY THIS MORNING....AND AGAIN LATER TONIGHT. WINDS WILL
   DIMINISH DURING THE AFTERNOON HRS...WHEN MIN RH READINGS WILL BOTTOM
   OUT BETWEEN 8-12 PERCENT. LACK OF STRONG WINDS WILL PRECLUDE
   CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.

   UPPER RIDGING WILL BUILD OVER THE WEST COAST IN THE WAKE OF AN UPPER
   TROUGH OVER THE PLAINS AND A LARGE UPPER TROUGH OVER THE GULF OF
   ALASKA. SFC HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN OVER THE GREAT BASIN...
   ALTHOUGH THE STRENGTH OF THIS SFC HIGH WILL BE WEAKENING THROUGH THE
   PERIOD. AS A RESULT...THE OFFSHORE WINDS WILL DECREASE OVER SRN CA.
   STRONG WLY FLOW ALONG THE TOP OF THIS UPPER RIDGE OVER THE NRN
   ROCKIES WILL SUPPORT A CONTINUED WARMUP OVER THE NRN/CENTRAL PLAINS.
   SFC WINDS WILL BE THE STRONGEST OVER NRN ROCKIES AND FRONT
   RANGE...BUT MIN RH READINGS WILL REMAIN HIGH ENOUGH IN THIS AREA TO
   PRECLUDE ANY CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE
   NATION...AN UPPER SYSTEM WILL MOVE FROM THE PLAINS INTO THE SERN
   STATES. SCT HVY RAINFALL WILL ACCOMPANY THIS SYSTEM.
   
   ...SRN CA...
   OFFSHORE GRADIENT WILL BE MODEST EARLY IN THE PERIOD /7-9 MB BETWEEN
   SRN NV AND SRN CA COAST/ SUPPORTING NELY WINDS FROM 15-25 MPH DURING
   THE EARLY MORNING. SFC PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL WEAKEN THROUGH THE
   REMAINDER OF THE PERIOD AS UPPER RIDGING BUILDS OVER THE SOUTHWEST.
   HOWEVER...VERY LOW RH READINGS /6-10 PERCENT/ ARE ANTICIPATED DURING
   THE DAY OVER THE COASTAL VALLEYS/MTNS.
