   ...SYNOPSIS...
   UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED SURFACE LOW WILL MOVE
   EASTWARD ALONG THE US/CANADIAN BORDER FROM JUST NORTH OF NORTH
   DAKOTA TO THE NORTHERN GREAT LAKES REGION THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY
   MORNING.  THE ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL MOVE SOUTHWARD ACROSS THE
   NORTHERN PLAINS AS THE SURFACE LOW MOVES EASTWARD.  WET CONDITIONS
   WILL CONTINUE IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST AS ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM MOVES
   INLAND.  AN EXITING UPPER LEVEL LOW OVER THE EASTERN US WILL PRODUCE
   PRECIPITATION ALONG  PORTIONS OF THE EAST COAST.

   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: STRONG WINDS AND LOWERING HUMIDITY DURING
   OVERNIGHT HOURS
   
   TEMPERATURES WILL BE LOWER ON WEDNESDAY COMPARED TO THE RECORD OR
   NEAR RECORD HIGHS OF THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS AND HUMIDITY DURING THE
   AFTERNOON MAY BRIEFLY RISE BEFORE NORTH NORTHWEST WINDS INCREASE IN
   SPEED DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS AND THE HUMIDITY BEGINS TO LOWER
   AGAIN.
   
   ...NORTHERN PLAINS...
   STRONG WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE THE FIRE WEATHER THREAT
   OVER PORTIONS OF NORTH AND SOUTH DAKOTA..HOWEVER COOLER TEMPERATURES
   AND HUMIDITY IN THE 30 TO 40 PERCENT RANGE SHOULD KEEP THE OVERALL
   CONDITIONS BELOW A CRITICAL AREA.

   UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST WILL MOVE INTO THE
   INTERMOUNTAIN REGION AS SURFACE LOW DEVELOPS AROUND THE
   OKLAHOMA/TEXAS PANHANDLE REGION.  SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING
   INTO THE CALIFORNIA/PACIFIC COAST REGION WILL HELP STRENGTHEN THE
   WINDS ACROSS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND PRODUCE A MODERATE OFFSHORE
   WIND EVENT THROUGH THE PERIOD.

   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: STRONG OFFSHORE WINDS VERY LOW HUMIDITY
   
   STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS WILL BECOME MORE NORTHEASTERLY EARLY ON
   THURSDAY WITH VERY STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS AS HIGH PRESSURE TO THE
   NORTH OF THE AREA STRENGTHENS. WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH SOME GUSTS
   TO NEAR 50 MAY OCCUR EARLY THURSDAY ALONG WITH HUMIDITY VALUES
   DROPPING TO AT OR BELOW 10 PERCENT.  THE STRONG WINDS AND LOW
   HUMIDITY VALUES SHOULD REACH THE COAST BY MID-DAY ALONG WITH WARM
   TEMPERATURES.  FUELS ACROSS THE AREA ARE EXTREMELY DRY AND RECENT
   DAYS OF RECORD OR NEAR RECORD HEAT AND LOW HUMIDITY THIS PAST WEEK
   HAVE LIKELY CONTINUED TO DRY OUT THE FUELS.
