   DAY 2 FIRE WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   0152 AM CST FRI NOV 24 2006

   VALID 251200Z - 261200Z

   ...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
THE BROAD UPPER TROUGH OVER THE WRN CONUS WILL BE REINFORCED
TOMORROW AS ADDITIONAL NRN/SRN STREAM SHORTWAVE TROUGHS ROTATE INTO
THE REGION. MODEST SWLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP OVER THE SRN HIGH PLAINS
AS THE SRN STREAM SHORTWAVE CROSSES THE SRN ROCKIES. MODERATE SLY
WINDS WILL ALSO DEVELOP OVER THE SRN LOWER PLAINS...BUT INCREASING
LOW LEVEL MOISTURE WILL LEAD TO MIN RH READINGS ABOVE 40 PERCENT FOR
MOST OF THIS AREA. SFC HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN IN CONTROL OF THE
ERN THIRD OF THE NATION LEADING TO DRY/MILD CONDITIONS ALONG WITH
   LIGHT WINDS.

   ...ERN NM AND WRN TX...
SSWLY WINDS WILL INCREASE TO BETWEEN 20-25 MPH TOMORROW AS THE SFC
LEE TROUGH INTENSIFIES IN RESPONSE TO APPROACHING SRN STREAM UPPER
TROUGH AND INCREASING MID LEVEL WIND FIELDS. COOL TEMPERATURES
/COMPARED TO THE LAST FEW DAYS/ WITH HIGHS GENERALLY IN THE 60S AND
SEASONABLE DWPTS IN THE 20S WILL LEAD TO MIN RH READINGS AROUND 25
   PERCENT.
