   FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS WILL REMAIN MINIMAL OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS IN
   THE WAKE OF RECENT ARCTIC AIRMASS NOW IN PLACE ACROSS THE MAJORITY
   OF THE CONUS. MORNING WATER VAPOR IMAGERY SHOWS SHORTWAVE TROUGH
   APPROACHING THE CA COAST...AND ANOTHER IMPULSE IS NOTED MOVING
   TOWARD THE TX BIG BEND AREA. PRECIPITATION /OTHER THAN LAKE EFFECT
   SNOW IN THE NORTHEAST/ WILL BE CONFINED TO THE WEST COAST AND
   PORTIONS OF S/SW TX ASSOCIATED WITH THESE SYSTEMS. VERY LOW HUMIDITY
   VALUES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF THE SERN STATES TODAY AND
   SATURDAY...BUT FORECAST MAX TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO BE MUCH BELOW
   NORMAL TODAY /AROUND 15-20 DEGREES/.

   INTO THE SRN PLAINS. LEE TROUGH WILL DEEPEN IN THE PRESENCE OF LARGE
   SCALE HEIGHT FALLS...WITH INCREASING SLY WINDS ACROSS THE PLAINS.
   MAX TEMPS WILL ALSO RISE TO SEASONAL NORMALS ON SATURDAY ACROSS THE
   SRN/CNTRL PLAINS. NEXT SIGNIFICANT WAVE WILL APPROACH THE WEST COAST
   BY EARLY SUNDAY...WITH THE HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION EXPECTED FOR
   PORTIONS OF CNTRL/NRN CA. LOW HUMIDITY WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE SERN
   STATES...THOUGH LIGHT TO MODERATE SFC WINDS WILL LESSEN FIRE THREAT.
