   CA AND NRN BAJA. THIS SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO AMPLIFY AS 70KT JET
   DIGS AROUND THE BASE OF THE TROUGH LATER TODAY. JET MAX WILL BE
   LOCATED OVER SRN NV/SRN CA BY TONIGHT WHILE SFC HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS
   OVER THE ERN GREAT BASIN. THE INCREASING PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL
   SUPPORT STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW THROUGH BEGINNING LATE MONDAY THROUGH
   TUESDAY NIGHT. FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS ARE MINIMAL ELSEWHERE IN THE
   CONUS...AS EXPANSIVE WINTER STORM DEPARTS THE UPPER MIDWEST AND
   PRECIPITATION SPREADS INTO THE NORTHEAST AND ALONG THE EAST COAST.

   GUSTY NLY WINDS HAVE ALREADY DEVELOPED THIS MORNING NEAR SANDBURG
   /SDB/. SFC WINDS WILL BECOME N/NE LATER TODAY...AND FAVORABLE UPPER
   SUPPORT WILL COMBINE WITH THE GRADIENT TO PRODUCE VERY STRONG
   OFFSHORE WINDS LATE TONIGHT /GUSTS FROM 50-70 MPH WITHIN PASSES AND
   CANYONS/. CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE LIKELY FOR
   TUESDAY GIVEN FALLING RH VALUES AND DRY CONDITIONS.

   TROUGH WILL DEEPEN INTO A CLOSED LOW OVER AZ BY EARLY TUE AND THEN
   DIG SWD OVER BAJA THROUGH THE DAY AND EVENING. ACCOMPANIED BY A
   70-80KT MID LEVEL JET...THIS SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE VERY STRONG WIND
   GUSTS AT THE SFC AND WIND ADVISORIES AND HIGH WIND WATCHES ARE IN
   EFFECT FOR SRN CA. SFC HIGH PRESSURE INCREASES TO AROUND 1032 MB
   CENTERED NEAR SLC TUE AFTN...AND THE RESULTING GRADIENT WINDS WILL
   LEAD TO CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ON TUE IN SRN CA.

   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: STRONG OFFSHORE WINDS 20-40 MPH WITH HIGHER
   GUSTS/MIN RH VALUES BELOW 15 PERCENT/HIGH TO VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER
   CLASS VALUES
   
   RECENT OBSERVATIONS OF FIRE DANGER CLASS VALUES INDICATE HIGH TO
   VERY HIGH VALUES ACROSS SRN CA. SUSTAINED WINDS WILL RANGE FROM
   25-35 MPH ON TUE WITH HIGHER GUSTS BETWEEN 50-65 MPH THROUGH
   PASSES/CANYONS AND OTHER FAVORED TERRAIN AREAS. HIGH TEMPS IN THE
   60S THROUGH MID 70S COMBINED WITH LOW DEWPOINTS WILL ALLOW MINIMUM
   RH VALUES TO RANGE BETWEEN 12-18 PERCENT. SANTA ANA WINDS WILL BE
   MOST INTENSE FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH EVENING...WITH WEAKENING
