   SOUTHWARD THROUGH THE PLAINS...SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL SHIFT
   EASTWARD FROM THE MID ATLANTIC STATES.

   EAST-SOUTHEASTERLY LOW LEVEL TRAJECTORIES WILL YIELD INCREASING
   BOUNDARY LAYER MOISTURE TODAY VIA THE ATLANTIC. HIGHER AFTERNOON
   DEWPOINTS WILL LIKELY KEEP RH VALUES FROM REACHING CRITICAL
   THRESHOLDS ACROSS MUCH OF GA/FL.
   
   ...SOUTH CENTRAL PLAINS...
   SIMILAR TO WEDNESDAY...GUSTY SOUTH-SOUTHWEST WINDS ARE AGAIN
   EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS A LARGE PORTION OF NORTH TX AND MUCH
   OF OK INTO EASTERN KS AND MO. SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS WILL LIKELY
   REACH 20-25 MPH THIS AFTERNOON...WITH GUSTS TO 35-40 MPH.
   HOWEVER...INCREASING BOUNDARY LAYER MOISTURE/CLOUD COVER WILL TEMPER
   THE DEGREE OF MIXING AND OVERALL FIRE WEATHER POTENTIAL TODAY...WITH
   RH VALUES EXPECTED TO BE WELL ABOVE CRITICAL THRESHOLDS.

   THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE COMMON ALONG THIS SOUTHWEST-NORTHEAST ORIENTED
   FRONTAL ZONE...WITH WINTER MIXED PRECIPITATION ALSO DEVELOPING
