   THE UPPER MIDWEST WILL MOVE ACROSS THE CNTRL GREAT LAKES WITH A
   BROAD ZONE OF W/SWLY MID LEVEL FLOW EXTENDING FROM THE SOUTHWEST
   THROUGH THE MID-ATLANTIC STATES.

   INCREASING SFC PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL FAVOR GUSTY SFC WINDS
   DEVELOPING ACROSS PORTIONS OF LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES
   TODAY. MAX TEMPS WILL CLIMB INTO THE LOW/MID 60S WITH LOWERING RH
   VALUES BELOW 20 PERCENT BY AFTN. SUSTAINED WINDS WILL LIKELY RANGE
   FROM 15-30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH IN FAVORED TERRAIN AREAS. SHORT
   DURATION OF EVENT WILL LIMIT POTENTIAL FOR A CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER

   AZ/NM ON SATURDAY. MID LEVEL RIDGING WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE UPPER
   MIDWEST AND CNTRL PLAINS THROUGH THE EARLY WEEKEND IN ADVANCE OF
   SHORTWAVE TROUGH DROPPING SE INTO MANITOBA.

   PORTIONS OF SRN CA. HOWEVER...TEMPS WILL BE RELATIVELY
   COOL...ESPECIALLY IN THE MTNS. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20-30 MPH ARE
   POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT WITH GUSTS TO 40-50 MPH. AS UPPER LOW MOVES INTO
   THE SOUTHWEST ON FRIDAY...GRADIENT WILL RELAX WITH SFC WINDS
