   SATURDAY...WITH WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION DEVELOPING ACROSS THE SRN
   PLAINS. OFFSHORE WINDS WILL WEAKEN TODAY ACROSS SRN CA...AS UPPER
   LOW MOVES EAST OF THE REGION. FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS WILL REMAIN
   MINIMAL THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

   MODERATELY STRONG OFFSHORE WINDS ON THURSDAY LED TO VERY LOW RH
   VALUES UNDER 10-15 PERCENT ACROSS PARTS OF SRN CA...AND DRY
   CONDITIONS CONTINUE THIS MORNING. GRADIENT OF 10-12 MB IS OBSERVED
   EARLY THIS MORNING FROM LGB-TPH...WHICH COULD SUPPORT A PERIOD OF
   GUSTY WINDS EARLY TODAY ACROSS SRN CA. HOWEVER...WITH FALLING LARGE
   SCALE HEIGHTS ACROSS THE GREAT BASIN AND DEPARTING UPPER LOW...SFC
   WINDS WILL WEAKEN LATER TODAY.

   INTO THE MID MS VALLEY BY EARLY SUNDAY. ACROSS THE WEST
   COAST...UPPER RIDGE ONCE AGAIN BEGINS TO BUILD AS MID/UPPER LEVEL
   JET DIVES SWD ACROSS CA AND THE GREAT BASIN SAT NIGHT INTO SUNDAY.
   LARGE SCALE HEIGHTS WILL RISE FROM THE UPPER MIDWEST THROUGH NEW
   ENGLAND AND THE MID ATLANTIC IN THE WAKE OF STORM SYSTEM MOVING
   THROUGH NEW ENGLAND ON FRIDAY. WEAK SFC PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL EXIST
   ACROSS SRN CA...WITH LIGHT WINDS EXPECTED ON SATURDAY. A GRADUAL
   WARMING TREND IS FORECAST BEGINNING SUNDAY INTO THE EARLY PART OF
   NEXT WEEK FOR THE WEST COAST WITH OFFSHORE WINDS DEVELOPING LATE
   SUNDAY INTO MONDAY.
