   CNTRL CA FORECAST TO MOVE LITTLE TODAY. SHORTWAVE TROUGH WILL DROP
   SE ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST AND INTO THE ST LAWRENCE VALLEY...WHILE
   SRN STREAM IMPULSE MOVES EAST INTO THE TN VALLEY. SFC COLD
   FRONT...EXTENDING FROM THE TX PANHANDLE NORTHEAST THROUGH CNTRL MO
   AND IL EARLY THIS MORNING...WILL MOVE SWD INTO THE SRN PLAINS
   BRINGING A COOLER AIRMASS INTO THE REGION TODAY. FARTHER EAST...LEE
   TROUGH WILL SET UP ACROSS THE NC PIEDMONT WITH GUSTY W/SW WINDS
   AHEAD OF APPROACHING COLD FRONT.
   
   ...PIEDMONT AND COASTAL PLAINS OF THE CAROLINAS...
   TEMPERATURES WILL BE ABOVE NORMAL ACROSS THE REGION
   TODAY...GENERALLY RANGING FROM THE LOW/MID 50S TO LOWER 60S EAST OF
   THE MOUNTAINS. FORECAST SOUNDINGS SUGGEST MODERATELY STRONG
   UNIDIRECTIONAL WIND PROFILES WITH LOW-MID LEVEL WINDS OF 20-40 KT.
   THIS HIGHER MOMENTUM AIR WILL LIKELY MIX DOWN TO THE SFC WITH GUSTS
   ABOVE 30 MPH POSSIBLE AT TIMES. IN ADDITION...MINIMUM RH VALUES WILL
   FALL BELOW 30 PERCENT. RECENT FIRE DANGER CLASS OBSERVATIONS ARE IN
   THE HIGH OR VERY HIGH RANGE...BUT WIDESPREAD CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
   CONDITIONS ARE NOT ANTICIPATED.

   CHANCE FOR PRECIPITATION ACROSS CNTRL CA BY EARLY MONDAY. AT THE
   SFC...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD ACROSS THE CNTRL/SRN PLAINS IN THE
   WAKE OF COLD FRONT ON SATURDAY. MEANWHILE...SFC COLD FRONT WILL MOVE
   OFFSHORE FROM THE MID-ATLANTIC WITH THE SRN PORTION OF THE FRONT
   EXTENDING ACROSS SRN SC/CNTRL GA BY SUNDAY EVENING. GUSTY
   POST-FRONTAL WINDS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE PIEDMONT...BUT RELATIVELY
   HIGH RH VALUES WILL LIMIT POTENTIAL FOR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
