   A LARGE WRN CONUS RIDGE WILL WEAKEN AS A PACIFIC SHORT WAVE TROUGH
   APPROACHES THE PACIFIC NW. AN UPSTREAM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO EVOLVE
   INTO A CLOSED UPPER LOW OFF THE PACIFIC NW COAST BY WED MORNING.
   BENEATH THE WEAKENING RIDGE...WARM/DRY CONDITIONS WITH MODEST WINDS
   WILL BE PRESENT ACROSS THE DESERT SW...SRN ROCKIES AND SRN HIGH
   PLAINS. FARTHER EAST...A BROAD TROUGH WILL REMAIN ANCHORED ACROSS
   THE CNTRL/ERN CONUS. AN EXPANSIVE AREA OF SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL
   BE SUPPRESSED SWD ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST AS AN ALBERTA CLIPPER EJECTS
   SEWD TOWARDS THE OH RIVER VALLEY. MILD AND DRY WEATHER WILL EXIST
   OVER MOST OF THE SOUTHEAST. HOWEVER...WINDS WILL BE QUITE LIGHT DUE
   TO THE INFLUENCE OF THE SURFACE HIGH.

   RIDGE...LEADING TO NEARLY ZONAL FLOW OVER THE SRN CONUS BY THU
   MORNING. FARTHER E...A CLIPPER SYSTEM WILL RACE EWD FROM THE UPPER
   OH RIVER VALLEY OFF THE SRN NEW ENGLAND COAST. A COLD FRONT WILL
   BECOME QUASI-STATIONARY FROM THE CAROLINAS WWD ACROSS THE SRN
   PLAINS.

   A MID-LEVEL TROUGH /FORECAST TO REACH THE SIERRA NEVADA MTNS WED
   AFTERNOON/...WILL INCREASE BROAD SWLY FLOW OVER THE SRN GREAT BASIN.
   ALTHOUGH LOW-LEVEL LAPSE RATES WILL BECOME STEEP THROUGH DAYTIME
   HEATING AND INCREASE VERTICAL MIXING...SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS
   SHOULD ONLY REACH AROUND 15 MPH. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES /MAINLY IN
   THE 60S/ WILL LIKELY BE MODERATED BY INCREASING UPPER-LEVEL CLOUD
   COVERAGE. THUS...RH VALUES SHOULD ONLY BECOME MARGINALLY LOW /AROUND
