   TONIGHT. MEANWHILE...IN THE NRN STREAM...UPPER LOW WILL DEEPEN AS IT
   PROGRESSES ACROSS THE WRN GREAT LAKES. FLOW ALOFT WILL BECOME MORE
   SWLY AS UPPER RIDGE AMPLIFIES ACROSS THE WRN STATES AHEAD OF NEXT
   ERN PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM. AT THE SFC...WEAK FRONT WILL EXTEND FROM
   WRN IL/NRN MO/NERN KS BY EVENING. SFC WINDS WILL BE RELATIVELY WEAK
   ACROSS THE CNTRL/SRN PLAINS...ESPECIALLY COMPARED WITH LATER IN THE
   WEEK...SO FIRE CONCERNS TODAY WILL BE MINIMAL ACROSS THE CONUS.

   ON THURSDAY...STRONG ERN PACIFIC UPPER TROUGH WILL MOVE ONSHORE BY
   EVENING. MID LEVEL WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 70-80 KT ACROSS BAJA LATE
   IN THE PERIOD...AS SRN STREAM JET MAX MOVES AROUND THE BASE OF THE
   TROUGH. RIDGE WILL BECOME MORE AMPLIFIED ACROSS THE MIDDLE OF THE
   CONUS...AS SFC HIGH BUILDS INTO THE MID MS VALLEY. MAIN SFC
   CYCLOGENESIS WILL OCCUR WITH GREAT BASIN LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM.
   STATIONARY FRONT WILL BE DRAPED FROM THE ERN PLAINS OF CO THROUGH
   THE TX PANHANDLE...AND ALTHOUGH SFC WINDS WILL INCREASE ON THURSDAY
   RELATIVE TO WEDNESDAY...OVERALL SPEEDS SHOULD REMAIN TOO LOW TO
   WARRANT A CRITICAL OUTLOOK. CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS ARE HOWEVER
   POSSIBLE ON FRIDAY FOR PORTIONS OF THE SRN HIGH PLAINS.
   
   ...SRN HIGH PLAINS...
   MINIMUM RH VALUES WILL FALL BELOW 15-20 PERCENT ACROSS PORTIONS OF
   ERN NM AND FAR W TX ON THURSDAY AS MAX TEMPS CLIMB INTO THE 70S.
   BUT...OVERALL WIND SPEEDS WILL BE TOO WEAK TO SUPPORT A LARGE SCALE
   FIRE THREAT.
