   OFF THE MID ATLANTIC COAST AND SOUTHEAST STATES. ALTHOUGH GRADUALLY
   WEAKENING ACROSS THE INTERMOUNTAIN WEST...EXPANSIVE SURFACE HIGH
   PRESSURE WILL REMAIN THE DOMINANT FEATURE FROM THE GREAT BASIN TO
   THE SOUTHERN PLAINS AND SOUTHEAST STATES.

   PRIMARY CONDITIONS: GUSTY DOWNSLOPE WINDS AND LOW RH
   
   WITH A STRONG PRESSURE GRADIENT IN PLACE VIA HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE
   INTERMOUNTAIN WEST...STRONG EASTERLY DOWNSLOPE WINDS /SUSTAINED
   15-25 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS/ ARE LIKELY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS
   SOUTHEAST/SOUTH CENTRAL AZ. THE DOWNSLOPE TRAJECTORIES WILL LEAD TO
   WARMER/DRIER CONDITIONS...WITH AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S.
   VERY LOW RH VALUES WILL DROP INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS THIS
   AFTERNOON...WITH LIMITED RH RECOVERY OVERNIGHT.
   
   ...COASTAL AREAS OF SOUTHERN CA...
   LOCALLY GUSTY SANTA ANA WINDS ARE ONGOING THIS MORNING...NAMELY
   THROUGH/BELOW FAVORED MOUNTAIN PASSES AND CANYONS OF SOUTHERN CA.
   ALTHOUGH THE OFFSHORE GRADIENT WILL GRADUALLY RELAX THROUGH THE
   PERIOD /WITH WINDS DIMINISHING/...AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN
   MILD WITH AFTERNOON HIGHS IN THE 70S AND LOW RH VALUES.

   A DRY AIRMASS WILL REMAIN ACROSS MUCH OF THE SOUTHEAST
   STATES/NORTHERN FL TODAY AMIDST WEST-NORTHWEST CONTINENTAL
   TRAJECTORIES IN THE LOW LEVELS. WITH WIND SPEEDS AROUND 10-15 MPH IN
   MOST LOCALES...AFTERNOON RH VALUES WILL RANGE FROM AROUND 25 PERCENT
   ACROSS PORTIONS OF AL/GA/SC/FAR NORTHERN FL...TO 30-35 PERCENT

   AND FL. A MODEST PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL LIKELY KEEP WIND SPEEDS
