   VALLEY. THE RIDGE ALOFT CONTINUES TO DOMINATE THE WEST...WITH MUCH
   ABOVE NORMAL AND RECORD TEMPERATURES EXPECTED AGAIN TODAY. SFC COLD
   FRONT WILL CONTINUE MOVING SWD THROUGH TX INTO THE WRN GULF OF
   MEXICO...WHILE ERN PORTION OF THE FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE SERN
   STATES INTO CNTRL FL BY THIS EVENING. COASTAL LOW WILL REDEVELOP
   NEAR THE OUTER BANKS OF NC...LIFTING NWD TOWARD SRN NEW ENGLAND BY
   EARLY SATURDAY. OTHER THAN LOWERING HUMIDITY VALUES IN THE
   POST-FRONTAL AIRMASS ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST...FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS
   SHOULD REMAIN FAIRLY MINIMAL TODAY.

   VALLEY...NEGATIVELY TILTED UPPER TROUGH WILL AMPLIFY IN RESPONSE TO
   DIGGING 100+ KT MID LEVEL JET STREAK...EVENTUALLY BECOMING A CLOSED
   UPPER LOW OVER NY BY EARLY SUNDAY. SFC HIGH PRESSURE ACROSS MUCH OF
   THE WEST WILL KEEP WINDS RELATIVELY LIGHT...EVEN THOUGH ABOVE NORMAL
   TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST. MAIN FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS ON SATURDAY
   WILL BE ACROSS THE SERN STATES...IN THE POST-FRONTAL AIRMASS WHERE
   HUMIDITY VALUES WILL BE QUITE LOW.

   CRITICAL MINIMUM RH VALUES /RANGING FROM 15-25 PERCENT/ WILL BE
   WIDESPREAD ACROSS MUCH OF AL/GA/SC AND PORTIONS OF NRN AND CNTRL FL.
   GUSTY N/NWLY WINDS ARE FORECAST ACROSS THIS REGION AS WELL...AND
   SUSTAINED SPEEDS OF 15-20 MPH ARE POSSIBLE SATURDAY AFTN. RECENT
   FLORIDA KBDI VALUES SHOW THE WORST DROUGHT CONDITIONS IN THE ERN
   PANHANDLE...AND CNTRL AND SRN FL. SFC WINDS WILL BE STRONGER ACROSS
   PORTIONS OF GA/AL WHERE SOME PRECIPITATION HAS OCCURRED RECENTLY.
