   VALID 241200Z - 251200Z

   ...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
AN UPPER TROUGH WILL MOVE OUT OF THE SRN ROCKIES INTO THE CENTRAL
PLAINS TODAY PROVIDING FOR MUCH NEEDED RAINFALL TO PORTIONS OF THE
REGION. IN THE WAKE OF THE LEAD UPPER SYSTEM...ANOTHER UPPER TROUGH
WILL DIG INTO NRN MEXICO. DOWNSTREAM OF BOTH OF THESE TROUGHS...
UPPER RIDGING WILL REMAIN FIRMLY ENTRENCHED OVER THE SERN STATES. AT
THE SFC...HIGH PRESSURE OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST WILL PROVIDE FOR
LOW RH READINGS AND NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ACROSS FL.
THE REMAINDER OF THE SERN STATES WILL SEE WELL ABOVE NORMAL
TEMPERATURES IN THE 80S...BUT LIGHTER WINDS WILL PRECLUDE ANY FIRE
WEATHER THREAT. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE NATION...NO CRITICAL/NEAR
CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED.

   ...INTERIOR NRN/CENTRAL FLA...
A SFC HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED OFF THE SERN SEABOARD AND LOW PRESSURE
LOCATED OVER THE NRN CARIBBEAN WILL SUPPORT A MODEST PRESSURE
GRADIENT OVER THE REGION DURING THE PERIOD. ALTHOUGH MOISTURE WILL
BE MODEST ALONG THE ERN COAST /DEWPTS IN THE LOWER 60S/...INLAND
AREAS WILL SEE DEWPTS REMAIN IN THE LOW-MID 50S DURING THE
AFTERNOON. GIVEN THE PRESENCE OF UPPER RIDGING OVER THE AREA...ABOVE
NORMAL TEMPERATURES IN THE MID-UPPER 80S WILL SUPPORT MIN RH
READINGS FROM 30-35 PERCENT. ENELY WINDS WILL NOT BE
STRONG...SUSTAINED VALUES FROM 10-15 MPH...BUT WILL STILL SUPPORT
   NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
