   ...SYNOPSIS...
UPPER LOW OVER THE EASTERN GULF COAST STATES IS EXPECTED TO BRING
MUCH NEEDED RAINFALL TO FL AND THE ADJACENT SOUTHEAST STATES ON
SATURDAY...WITH IMPROVED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS WEEKEND.
OTHERWISE...PERSISTENT UPPER LOW OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS WILL
SLOWLY MIGRATE EASTWARD TOWARD THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY...WITH
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS COMMON FROM THE UPPER MIDWEST INTO THE
CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PLAINS. IN THE WEST...UPPER RIDGE IS FORECAST
TO BUILD OVER THE GREAT BASIN/INTERMOUNTAIN WEST...WITH ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST AND NORTHERN
   INTERMOUNTAIN REGION.

   ...CASCADES/NORTHERN GREAT BASIN/NORTHERN INTERMOUNTAIN WEST...
A SHORTWAVE TROUGH IMPINGING ON THE BUILDING UPPER RIDGE SHOULD LEAD
TO INCREASED COVERAGE...AS WELL AS AN EASTWARD SHIFT...IN
THUNDERSTORMS FROM THE CASCADES OF ORE/NORTHERN CA INTO THE NORTHERN
INTERMOUNTAIN WEST. AN INCREASE IN PW VALUES SUGGEST THUNDERSTORMS
SHOULD BE INCREASINGLY WET ACROSS NORTHERN CA/INTERIOR ORE/WESTERN
NV BY SATURDAY. FARTHER EAST...MAINLY DRY THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF EASTERN WA/ID/WESTERN MT/NORTHERN
UT...HOWEVER THIS ACTIVITY SHOULD REMAIN FAIRLY ISOLATED.
