   VALID 021200Z - 031200Z

   ...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
MUCH NEEDED RAINFALL WILL OCCUR OVER MOST OF FL AND THE ERN
CAROLINAS THROUGH TONIGHT AS T.S BERRY MOVES NEWD ACROSS FL TOWARDS
THE SERN COASTLINE. MEANWHILE...AN UPPER LOW/TROUGH OVER THE CENTRAL
STATES WILL MOVE SLOWLY EWD THROUGH THE PERIOD...PROVIDING FOR
SCT-NMRS TSTMS OVER MUCH OF THE PLAINS/MS VALLEY AND GREAT LAKES
STATES. FURTHER WEST AN UPPER RIDGE WILL BUILD OVER THE INTERMTN
REGION...AS UPPER TROUGHING DEEPENS OVER THE NRN PACIFIC. A LARGE
AREA OF LOW RH READINGS IS EXPECTED OVER THE GREAT BASIN/SWRN STATES
UNDER THE PRESENCE OF THE UPPER RIDGE. ON THE PERIPHERY OF THE
RIDGE...ISOLATED-SCT TSTMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER PORTIONS OF THE NRN
ROCKIES/PAC NW AND NRN GREAT BASIN. A FEW OF THESE TSTMS ARE
EXPECTED TO BE DRY OVER THE NRN GREAT BASIN.

   ...NRN GREAT BASIN...
TSTMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AGAIN TODAY ON THE WRN/NRN PORTIONS OF
AN UPPER RIDGE CENTERED OVER THE SOUTHWEST. MAINLY WET TSTMS ARE
EXPECTED OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF CENTRAL ORE/NERN CA WHERE
LOW-MID LEVEL MOISTURE WILL BE HIGHER. BUT ISOLATED TO SCT DRY TSTMS
ARE EXPECTED FURTHER EAST OVER PORTIONS OF THE NRN NV/WRN ID AND ERN
ORE WHERE VERY DRY LOW LVLS AND HIGH CLOUD BASES WILL EXIST.

   DAY 2 FIRE WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   0343 AM CDT SAT JUN 02 2007

   VALID 031200Z - 041200Z

   ...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
A BROAD UPPER TROUGH WILL EXIST OVER THE CENTRAL/ERN CONUS ON DAY 2.
THE REMNANTS OF T.S BERRY ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE NEWD ALONG THE ERN
SEABOARD THROUGH THE PERIOD. IN THE WAKE OF THIS SYSTEM...WLY FLOW
WILL USHER IN DRIER AIR /WITH MIN RH READINGS FROM 35-45 PERCENT/
INTO THE SERN STATES. THE COMBINATION OF MODERATE PRECIPITATION
ASSOCIATED WITH THE PASSAGE OF T.S BARRY AND SCT PRECIPITATION
EXPECTED DURING THE PERIOD WILL MITIGATE ANY CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONCERNS OVER THE SERN STATES ON DAY 2. FURTHER WEST...UPPER RIDGING
WILL REMAIN IN CONTROL OVER THE INTERMTN REGION. ISOLATED DRY TSTMS
WILL AGAIN BE LIKELY OVER THE NRN GREAT BASIN REGION ALONG THE
PERIPHERY OF THE UPPER RIDGE. WITH THE LACK OF ANY CLEAR FOCUSING
MECHANISM... THE COVERAGE OF TSTMS IS EXPECTED TO BE LIMITED ENOUGH
THAT A CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER THREAT IS NOT ANTICIPATED.
