   DAY 2 FIRE WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   0449 AM CDT MON JUN 18 2007

   VALID 191200Z - 201200Z

   ...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
UPPER TROUGH WILL BE LOCATED OVER NWRN ONTARIO TUE MORNING AND WILL
TRACK GENERALLY EAST TOWARD HUDSON BAY. ASSOCIATED SFC COLD FRONT
WILL REACH THE OH/TN VALLEYS BY AFTN...WITH A CONCENTRATED AREA OF
SHOWERS/TSTMS AHEAD OF THE BOUNDARY. MEANWHILE IN THE WEST...UPPER
RIDGE WILL BEGIN TO BUILD AHEAD OF APPROACHING STORM SYSTEM FROM THE
ERN PACIFIC. THIS WILL RESULT IN WARMER TEMPERATURES AND
STRENGTHENING MID LEVEL WINDS ACROSS NRN CA/GREAT BASIN. THERE WILL
BE A CHANCE FOR ISOLD DRY TSTMS ACROSS EXTREME SE AZ AND THE WHITE
MTNS. AT THIS TIME...AREAL COVERAGE WILL NOT BE GREAT ENOUGH TO
   WARRANT AN OUTLOOK AREA.

...SE AZ/WHITE MTNS/AREAS ALONG AND WEST OF CONTINENTAL DIVIDE IN
   WRN NM...
FORCING FOR STORMS ON TUE AFTN WILL BE RATHER WEAK UNDER LARGE SCALE
UPPER RIDGE. HOWEVER...MID LEVEL MOISTURE MAY BE SUFFICIENT FOR
ISOLD TSTMS. IF STORMS CAN FORM...THEY WOULD NOT CONTAIN WETTING
RAINS GIVEN VERY HIGH BASES AND DRY SUB-CLOUD LAYER. AT THIS
TIME...COVERAGE IS EXPECTED TO BE MINIMAL.
