   CONUS THROUGH THE PERIOD...WHILE THE SHORTWAVE TROUGH RESPONSIBLE
   FOR SUNDAYS NORTHERN ROCKIES CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS WILL ADVANCE
   EASTWARD ACROSS THE CENTRAL CANADIAN PROVINCES/U.S. NORTHERN TIER. A
   PASSING MID LEVEL IMPULSE AND RICH MID LEVEL MOISTURE WILL RESULT IN
   SCATTERED MAINLY WET THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS A LARGE PART OF THE
   EASTERN GREAT BASIN/FOUR CORNERS REGION.
   OTHERWISE...SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE COMMON ACROSS THE UPPER
   MIDWEST AND NORTHERN PLAINS...AS WELL AS THE SOUTHEAST/GULF COAST
   STATES.

   THE TRAILING PORTION OF A COLD FRONT WILL DECELERATE ACROSS
   WY/EASTERN ID TODAY. WHILE SUBDUED FROM SUNDAY...SOME BREEZY
   CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE IN AREAS ALONG/WEST OF THE DIVIDE ACROSS
   WESTERN WY/EASTERN ID...WITH SUSTAINED WESTERLY WINDS OF 15 MPH
   /WITH HIGHER GUSTS/ POSSIBLE. MARGINAL NATURE OF THE EXPECTED WIND
   SPEEDS AND RH VALUES SUGGEST CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE
   UNLIKELY.

   EAST OF A HIGH PLAINS SURFACE TROUGH...HOT TEMPERATURES AND GUSTY
   SOUTH-SOUTHWEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF WESTERN/CENTRAL KS
   THIS AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 90S/AROUND 100 F ARE
   LIKELY...WITH SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS AS HIGH AS 20 MPH THIS
   AFTERNOON. MARGINAL RH VALUES AND SCATTERED PRECIPITATION OVER THE

   WESTERLIES WILL REMAIN ACROSS THE NORTHERN TIER OF STATES AND CANADA
   ON TUESDAY. IN THE WAKE OF THE UPPER TROUGH ACROSS THE CENTRAL
   CANADIAN PROVINCES...UPPER RIDGE WILL GRADUALLY BUILD OVER THE
   PACIFIC NORTHWEST/NORTHERN INTERMOUNTAIN REGION...BEGINNING A
   WARMING TREND THAT WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK.
   SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE COMMON FROM THE EASTERN
   GREAT BASIN/FOUR CORNERS TO THE WESTERN GREAT LAKES...IN ADDITION TO
