   VALID 101200Z - 111200Z

   ...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL TROUGHS WILL PROGRESS ACROSS THE WESTERN
U.S. WITH A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE HOLDING ACROSS THE CENTRAL
STATES. THE STRONG UPPER LEVEL LOW OVER THE GREAT LAKES WILL SHIFT
ONLY SLOWLY TO THE SOUTHEAST WITH A SURFACE RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE

SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WITH INCREASING NORTHERLY WINDS AND LOWER

EXTREME TO EXCEPTIONAL LONG TERM DROUGHT CONTINUES. A FEW WILDFIRES
HAVE BEEN REPORTED DURING THE PAST WEEK AND THIS AREA WILL CONTINUE
TO BE MONITORED FOR POSSIBLE UPGRADE TO A CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER AREA
BECAUSE OF THE EXTREMELY DRY LONG TERM CONDITIONS AND LACK OF ANY
APPRECIABLE RAINFALL...RESULTING IN VERY DRY FUELS.
