   SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS IN THE WAKE OF A DRYLINE/PACIFIC COLD FRONT. A
   BROAD EXTENT FROM THE EAST CENTRAL NM MOUNTAINS INTO WEST/SOUTHWEST
   TX AND THE OK/TX PANHANDLES WILL LIKELY EXPERIENCE SUSTAINED
   WEST-SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 25-35 MPH THIS AFTERNOON...WITH DEEPLY
   MIXED FORECAST SOUNDINGS FAVORABLE FOR 40-60 MPH GUSTS. ALTHOUGH
   SIGNIFICANT WIND SPEEDS/GUSTS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH AROUND
   SUNSET...NEGATING FACTORS FOR A MORE SUBSTANTIAL FIRE WEATHER THREAT

   SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS WILL LIKELY BE IN THE 20-30 MPH RANGE THURSDAY
   AFTERNOON...WITH POTENTIAL FOR GUSTS TO 40 MPH. COOLER
   TEMPERATURES/MORE MARGINAL RH VALUES...ALONG WITH MARGINAL
   FUELS...SUGGEST THE OVERALL THREAT WILL BE DIMINISHED FROM DAY
