   ...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
A LONGWAVE UPPER TROUGH WILL REMAIN CENTERED ACROSS THE CENTRAL
STATES TODAY...WITH THE UPPER RIDGE WEAKENING OVER THE SOUTHEAST
STATES. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE COMMON ALONG A FRONTAL
BOUNDARY FROM NEW ENGLAND TO THE LOWER/MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI RIVER
VALLEY. IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT...HIGH PRESSURE AND COOL/DRY
CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL ACROSS THE PLAINS. AS HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS
ACROSS THE GREAT BASIN...LOCALLY STRONG WIND GUSTS ARE LIKELY FOR
   PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN CA.

   ...SOUTHERN CA...
LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS WILL BE ONGOING THIS MORNING ACROSS THE
MOUNTAINS OF VENTURA/LOS ANGELES COUNTIES...AS WELL AS ADJACENT
PORTIONS OF SAN BERNARDINO/ORANGE COUNTIES. HOWEVER...THE DRY WINDS
ARE UNLIKELY TO MAKE IT TO THE COAST DUE TO THE EXISTENCE OF A
MARINE LAYER. WINDS OF 20-30 MPH WILL BE LIKELY WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
GUSTS THROUGH PASSES AND CANYONS...WHILE RH VALUES DROP INTO THE
TEENS THIS AFTERNOON. THE OFFSHORE GRADIENT/GUSTY WINDS WILL WEAKEN
