   0226 AM CST TUE DEC 11 2007

   VALID 111200Z - 121200Z

   ...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
AN UPPER LOW CENTERED OVER THE SWRN STATES WILL MOVE SLOWLY EWD
THROUGH THE PERIOD. AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM...WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION
WILL OCCUR FROM THE SRN/CENTRAL PLAINS NEWD INTO THE GREAT LAKES
REGION. AN UPPER RIDGE WILL REMAIN OVER THE SERN STATES PROVIDING
FOR WELL ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES. HOWEVER...RH READINGS ACROSS
THIS REGION WILL BE WELL ABOVE CRITICAL LEVELS. FURTHER
WEST...WEAK-MODERATE OFFSHORE WINDS WILL BE LIKELY OVER VALLEYS/MTNS
OF CENTRAL/SRN CA ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE SWRN UPPER LOW.
HOWEVER...BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES IN THESE AREAS WILL PRECLUDE
   CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.

   ...CENTRAL/SRN CA...
WITH BUILDING GREAT BASIN HIGH PRESSURE IN THE WAKE OF THE EXITING
UPPER LOW...GUSTY WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO BE ONGOING THROUGH THE
PERIOD ACROSS CENTRAL/SOUTHERN CA. TEMPERATURES WILL BE BELOW NORMAL
/MID 50S TO MID 60S/. THUS DESPITE LOW DWPTS IN THE TEENS/20S
...MARGINAL RH VALUES AND RELATIVELY MOIST FUELS SUGGEST NO CRITICAL
   FIRE CONDITIONS.

   DAY 2 FIRE WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK
   0226 AM CST TUE DEC 11 2007

   VALID 121200Z - 131200Z

   ...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

   ...SYNOPSIS...
THE UPPER LOW OVER THE SWRN STATES WILL OPEN UP AND MOVE EWD INTO
THE SRN PLAINS TOMORROW IN RESPONSE TO ANOTHER UPPER TROUGH DIGGING
SEWD ALONG THE WEST COAST. MORE PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED FROM THE
SRN PLAINS INTO THE OHIO VALLEY/GREAT LAKES AHEAD OF THIS UPPER
TROUGH. WELL AHEAD OF THIS UPPER TROUGH...ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES
IN THE 70S/80S WILL BE PREVALENT OVER THE SERN STATES. HOWEVER...AS
ON DAY 1...MIN RH READINGS WILL BE ABOVE CRITICAL LEVELS. FURTHER
WEST...LIGHT OFFSHORE WINDS WILL OCCUR OVER SRN CA EARLY IN THE
PERIOD...BEFORE BECOMING ONSHORE LATER IN THE DAY AHEAD OF ANOTHER
   UPPER TROUGH.

   ...SRN CA...
OFFSHORE WINDS WILL BECOME ONSHORE DURING THE PERIOD AHEAD OF AN
UPPER TROUGH THAT WILL MOVE SEWD ALONG THE WEST COAST DURING THE
PERIOD. NEAR AVERAGE TEMPERATURES IN THE 60S AND LOW DWPTS IN THE
10S/20S WILL PRODUCE MIN RH READINGS AROUND 15 PERCENT.
HOWEVER...LIGHT WINDS WILL PRECLUDE ANY CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
   CONDITIONS.
