   EWD INTO THE PLAINS TODAY. AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM...PRECIPITATION WILL
   EXTEND FROM THE SRN PLAINS INTO THE MID ATLANTIC. ABOVE NORMAL
   TEMPERATURES WILL BE FOUND OVER THE SERN STATES ASSOCIATED WITH AN
   UPPER RIDGE. HOWEVER...RH READINGS WILL BE ABOVE CRITICAL LEVELS
   OVER THIS REGION. IN THE WAKE OF THIS SRN PLAINS SYSTEM...MILD
   TEMPERATURES AND WEAK OFFSHORE FLOW WILL OCCUR OVER SRN CA EARLY IN
   THE PERIOD. ANOTHER UPPER TROUGH WILL DIG SEWD ALONG THE CA COAST
   AIDING IN A RETURN OF ONSHORE FLOW TO SRN CA LATER TODAY. NO FIRE
   WEATHER CONCERNS ARE EXPECTED NATIONWIDE DUE TO WEAK WINDS OR LACK
   OF LOW RH READINGS.

   STAGE FOR ANOTHER WEAK-MODERATE OFFSHORE WIND EVENT TO DEVELOP THU
   NIGHT OVER SRN CA. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE NATION...ZONAL FLOW WILL
   KEEP GENERALLY QUIESCENT WEATHER.

   BEHIND AN UPPER TROUGH DIGGING SEWD THROUGH THE GREAT BASIN...SFC
   HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE GREAT BASIN THU NIGHT. OFFSHORE
   WINDS FROM 15-30 MPH WILL DEVELOP IN THE FAVORED WIND AREAS IN
   RESPONSE TO THE INCREASING PRESSURE GRADIENT. GENERALLY COOL
   TEMPERATURES AND MARGINAL RH READINGS /ABOVE 20 PERCENT/ WILL
   PRECLUDE ANY CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER THREAT.
