   A SEASONABLY STRONG UPPER TROUGH WILL TAKE SHAPE OVER THE ROCKIES
   TODAY...BEFORE MOVING INTO THE PLAINS TONIGHT. AHEAD OF THIS
   SYSTEM...WEAK UPPER RIDGING WILL CONTINUE ABOVE NORMAL
   TEMPERATURES/DRY CONDITIONS OVER MOST OF THE SERN STATES. BUT LIGHT
   WINDS/HIGH RH READINGS WILL BE PREVALENT ACROSS THIS REGION
   PRECLUDING ANY CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER THREAT. IN THE WAKE OF THIS
   TROUGH...OFFSHORE WINDS WILL CONTINUE OVER SRN CA TODAY. 
   HOWEVER...MARGINAL WINDS AND A LACK OF LONG DURATION LOW RH READINGS
   WILL PRECLUDE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS IN THIS AREA.

   IN THE WAKE OF THE UPPER TROUGH OVER THE ROCKIES...A 1030+ MB SFC
   HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD SWD THROUGH THE GREAT BASIN TODAY. THIS
   WILL MAINTAIN A MODERATE OFFSHORE GRADIENT OVER THE REGION. AS A
   RESULT...SUSTAINED E-NELY WINDS FROM 15-30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS
   WILL BE POSSIBLE IN FAVORED WIND AREAS THROUGH TONIGHT /WITH THE
   STRONGEST GUSTS THIS MORNING. NEAR/SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL
   TEMPERATURES IN THE 60S COMBINED WITH MARGINAL RH READINGS /20
   PERCENT/ WILL PRECLUDE A CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER THREAT.

   PLAINS/WRN GULF COAST REGION. DESPITE GUSTY NWLY WINDS OVER SWRN/SRN
   TX...RH READINGS WILL REMAIN ABOVE CRITICAL THRESHOLDS. FURTHER
   WEST...OFFSHORE WINDS WILL REMAIN OVER SRN CA...BUT SHOULD WEAKEN
   THROUGH THE PERIOD AS THE GRADIENTS DIMINISH.
   
   ...SWRN/SRN TX...
   BEHIND A STRONG COLD FRONT...NWLY WINDS FROM 20-30 MPH WILL DEVELOP
   OVER THE AREA DURING THE PERIOD. RELATIVELY COOL TEMPERATURES IN THE
   50S/60S WILL KEEP MIN RH READINGS FROM 25-35 PERCENT. COMBINED WITH
   THE MARGINAL WEATHER CONDITIONS...LACK OF LONG TERM DROUGHT AND
   MARGINAL FIRE DANGERS SHOULD PRECLUDE ANY CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
