   ...SYNOPSIS...
   A COMPLEX SURFACE AND UPPER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL REMAIN OVER THE
   AREA FROM THE GREAT LAKES TO NEW ENGLAND.  SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE
   OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL WEAKEN DURING THE DAY AND HELP TO WEAKEN
   THE PRESSURE GRADIENT OVER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.  A WEAK UPPER LEVEL
   LOW WILL MOVE SLOWLY FROM THE SOUTHWEST U.S. INTO SOUTHWEST TEXAS AS
   A VIGOROUS UPPER LEVEL TROUGH MOVES INTO THE NORTHERN ROCKIES.

   AN OFFSHORE WIND EVENT OVER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WILL BEGIN TO WIND
   DOWN AS NORTHEASTERLY WINDS DIMINISH BY LATE IN THE DAY. 
   HOWEVER...HUMIDITY IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN VERY LOW...EVEN THROUGH THE
   OVERNIGHT HOURS.  THE OFFSHORE WIND EVENT HAS BEEN OFFSET BY
   MODERATE TO HEAVY PRECIPITATION IN THE PAST TWO WEEKS THAT HAS LEFT
   THE FUELS MOIST.  
   
   ...CNTRL AND NRN FL...
   MODERATE NORTHERLY WINDS WITH HIGHS IN THE 50S TO MID 60S AND
   AFTERNOON HUMIDITY BELOW 35 PERCENT ARE EXPECTED TODAY ACROSS MOST
   OF CENTRAL AND NORTHERN FLORIDA.  WITH MARGINAL WEATHER CONDITIONS
   AND SOME RECENT RAIN...WILL NOT ISSUE A CRITICAL AREA AT THIS TIME.

   THE STRONG UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OVER NEW ENGLAND WILL BEGIN TO MOVE
   OFFSHORE BY THE END OF THE PERIOD...HOWEVER...ANOTHER VIGOROUS
   TROUGH WILL DIG INTO THE CENTRAL U.S.  AT THE SURFACE...A LARGE HIGH
   PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL COVER MOST OF THE EAST COAST.  
   
   A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE CENTRAL U.S. WITH A LARGE AND
   VERY COLD HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM BUILDING SOUTHWARD ACROSS THE
   ROCKIES.  
   
   THE HUMIDITY MAY REMAIN LOW OVER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA...HOWEVER THE
   WINDS SHOULD BE LIGHTER ON TUESDAY COMPARED TO MONDAY.
   
   LIGHT NORTHWESTERLY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY...BELOW 35 PERCENT...WILL
   COVER MUCH OF FLORIDA.
